CAN I COMPLETE ANY OF THE PAPERWORK BEFORE WE COME FOR
Yes! We have a CLIENT FORM. You can bring the completed form with you or fax
it to our hospital at (604)-303-5751.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANY INFORMATION WITH ME?
If your pet has been previously seen by another veterinarian please bring your pet’s history with you i.e. vaccine records, test results, prescriptions.
DOES MY PET NEED TO STAY OVERNIGHT?
This depends on the procedure.
Some more complex procedures may require at least one overnight stay in the hospital. Your veterinarian will explain if your pet has to stay overnight after a procedure.
WHO LOOKS AFTER MY PET OVERNIGHT?
We have surveillance cameras in all rooms, which our doctors can view through their mobile devices and computers. The doctors also visit overnight patients a minimum of two times during the night. Our staff ensures that all patients are stable, comfortable, clean, walked, fed and get some love before they leave! The doctor on call will come in if there are any concerns about your pet’s status.
CAN I VISIT MY PET?
Absolutely!! We discourage visitation the day of anesthesia and surgery, as this often leads to a hyperexcitable state in patients recovering from anesthesia; visitation is encouraged the day after surgery if your pet is not going home. Visitation is very beneficial to you, your pet and to us, as owners give useful feedback on how close to normal their pet is.
DO YOU HAVE AN IN-HOUSE PAYMENT PLAN?
Depending on your circumstances we can establish a specific in-house payment plan for you. Although we do prefer that you do this through a pet plan company who also have flexible re-payment options i.e. Petcard and Medicard. We would recommend comparing the rates from these companies with those from the standard credit card companies and banks.
